What Our Members Are Saying

"I was initially skeptical about joining IAPBD. I thought I might lose company 'secrets' or clients. Instead, I learned that every company in our industry faces similar opportunities and challenges, and I have definitely benefited from discussing these issues with other business owners.

Clients and prospects often ask us if we know who handles distribution in areas outside our territory. We always refer these people to an IAPBD member. In turn, we have received referrals resulting in substantial contracts.

Finally, this group understands how to balance work and play. Our meetings are always a blast! I can't wait for the next one!"

-- James Morrison, President
Getaways On Display

"The IAPBD is the voice of our industry, and provides a portal for prospective advertisers to find and locate vital contact information from IAPBD members. In addition to the marketing opportunities, the Association has also commissioned groundbreaking research regarding the effectiveness of brochure display rack advertising. The Association is in the process of commissioning follow-up research on developments affecting the future of our industry.

In addition to the marketing, promotion and research programs, the Association also conducts an annual 'Best Brochure' design competition that recognizes effective and dynamic brochures and rack cards submitted by the member companies.

The IAPBD is here to serve brochure distribution companies of all sizes, and all members can share in the many benefits of membership. We strongly recommend membership in the International Association of Professional Brochure Distributors to any brochure display rack service company!"

-- Patrick Fearn, President
Certified Folder Display Service, Inc.

"As a member of APBD for the last 14 years, I have enjoyed establishing both social and professional relationships with other member companies. In a locally competitive market my membership tells our customers that we adhere to industry ethics and standards. My membership has given me a window to the industry in general while in particular providing a forum for the many issues related to the operation of a brochure distribution company -- marketing, operations, efficiency of management, etc.

It has been fun to visit other markets during the annual meetings and informally swap observations with other members. I feel I have been given excellent advice on occasion and have been able to avoid problems because of it. While fellow members have been helpful in occasionally referring business to us, perhaps more than the financial benefits have been the knowledge that through our membership we are giving a little back to an industry which has been very good to us."
